Egypt drawn with Lebanon, Bahrain in U17 Arab Cup group

Egypt’s U17 national team have discovered their group for the U17 Arab Cup scheduled to be played this summer in Morocco.

The 2021 U17 Arab Cup is set to take place between July 29 and August 15 an will comprise 16 Arab nations.

This will be the tournament’s fourth edition since its inception in 2011. Saudi Arabia were the first champions, followed by Tunisia, then Iraq in 2014.

Egypt were drawn in Group D alongside Bahrain, Somalia and Lebanon. Meanwhile, Group C included two previous champions Iraq and Tunisia as well as Mauritania and Yemen.

Hosts Morocco were drawn in Group A with Saudi Arabia, Palestine and Kuwait. Finally, Group B was composed of Algeria, UAE, Libya and Djibouti.
