NNA – Lebanon’s representation in Tokyo’s Summer Olympics has increased to six athletes, including three who have been officially qualified: trap shooter Ray Bassil, weightlifter Mahasen Fattouh, and judo player Nassif Elias.
Swimmers Monzer Kabbara and Marie Khoury, as well as runner Noureddine Hadid, will also be joining the Lebanese team after having receiving special invitation cards “Wild Cards”.
The Lebanese Olympic Committee will soon circulate the names of the new athletes who have qualified to join the official delegation of athletes to Japan-Tokyo’s summer olympics next month.
